a foggy memory kept preciously

My intention with this response was to create something that was a very sentimental item to somebody, like a lot of good memories are.

I have a friend who carries a photograph of her mother who passed away from cancer everywhere she goes and this was what i was drawing inspiration from in my response to the poem Memories.

I wrapped the image in tule and the sewed it on like it had been kept as something precious, and then i cut the tule open as if the person the memory belonged to couldn't stand not being able to have the memory put away safely so they ripped it open to have that memory back with them.
