The development in communication devices attatched to uniforms are a great significant change in military fashions. They allow for better accessability and communication to fellow soldiers. The placement of the devices up around the helmet mean that the soldier is freed up from holding the device to his face to communicate so he can use his hands to attack and defend.
In some aspects it does impact on fashion today in that people walk around with accesorised headsets and decorative mobile phones that make a statment socially and economically.

Photography
The change from black and white photography to colour photography is a significant change. It is significant because it allows viewers far more understanding of the circumstances. For example weather conditions, physical conditions of soldiers and in general a greater understanding and a more in depth view of what the soldiers where experiencing.
This technological advance does impact on all aspects of photography today, especially war photography and with theadvance of digital photography it has made an even bigger impact with the ability to easily capture images full of detail.
